The North Platte Opportunity Center is dedicated to making a difference in the lives of people with developmental disabilities in Lincoln and Keith Counties and the surrounding area.
Our Services
NPOC provides a continuum of services to adults with developmental disabilities. It is our mission to treat people with dignity and respect while supporting achievement, independence, safety, and health.

Why should you donate?

The North Platte Opportunity Center serves individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Your donation helps these individuals receive support so they can become active members of their community. In addition, our residents serve the community with outgoing services such as our Copy Center,  A New Opportunity Thrift Store, and Hidden Treasures.

Social, Vocational, Spiritual, & Community Opportunities

We provide a continuum of services to adults with developmental disabilities.

NPOC staff assist the people they serve to develop and maintain relationships with families and friends and to become active members of their community with employment opportunities, volunteer activities, shopping, social events and becoming good neighbors.

Community Business Opportunities

We provide service to the community through a New Opportunity Thrift Store (NOTS) and the Copy Center.

Our goal is to increase public understanding of, respect for and partnership with people with disabilities.

Providing good, lightly used items at a fair price at the NOTS, our Thrift Store, and premium quality print and copy products at the Copy Center.
